DIY Installation GUIDE

Installing your extensions is easier than you think! While every order comes with a comprehensive step-by-step video and photo guide, here is the 4-step breakdown of how you'll achieve your new look:

1. Prep & Section
Use your sectioning comb and Oro clips to create a clean, horizontal part in your hair. Clean sections are the secret to a professional, invisible finish.

2. The "Sandwich" Method
Take one pre-taped extension and place it underneath a thin sliver of your natural hair. Place a second extension directly on top, "sandwiching" your natural hair in between the two adhesive strips.

3. Press & Secure
Firmly press the two tapes together for a few seconds to ensure a strong, lasting bond. Your kit's medical-grade adhesive does the rest!

4. Style & Blend
Repeat the process until your desired volume is reached, then brush through with your extension-friendly comb to blend your natural hair seamlessly with your new length.

Can I really install these by myself at home?

Absolutely! Our tape-ins are designed for DIY. If you can section your hair and use a comb, you can install these. Each order comes with a step-by-step guide, and most customers finish a full head in under 30 minutes.
How many packs do I need for a full head?

For a natural look and added length, 2 packs are usually enough. If you have very thick hair or want a "va-va-voom" voluminous look, we recommend 3-4 packs.
Will the tape damage my natural hair?

Not at all. We use a medical-grade, hypoallergenic adhesive that is gentle on hair strands. Damage only occurs if they are removed incorrectly; always use our dedicated Tape-In Remover to slide them out safely.
How long do they stay in before I need to "move them up"?

Our 100% Premium Remy Human Hair is designed to last 5 months (or even longer!) with proper love and care. Regarding the application, you’ll typically need to "move them up" every 6 to 8 weeks as your natural hair grows. Can I swim or gym with tape-ins?

Yes, but wait 48 hours after installation before getting them wet to let the bond "set." If you swim in chlorine or salt water, rinse your hair immediately afterward and apply a leave-in conditioner to the ends.
How long does delivery take within SA?

We ship nationwide! Main centers (JHB, CPT, DBN) usually see delivery within 2–3 business days, while regional areas may take 4–5 business days.
